Comforts holds a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Prairie View A&M University, Texas and a first degree in English Language and Literary Studies from the University of Ibadan.
She is highly skilled in Front end development technologies, UX Research and Design, Software Product Development and Program management. Her current interest lies in Machine Translation, Natural Language Processing, and speech recognition.
Her previous role was in the Machine Translation team, AI/ML at Apple where she worked as an Engineering Program Manager. She had the opportunity to work on the Apple Translate app conducting several data collections and usability studies to facilitate app improvement.
She has worked on several projects including a saving and investment application for international clientele. She became a TMCF Scholar in 2019, and won the prestigious Grace Hopper Scholarship for Women in STEM in 2020, she also received the NSBE APEX SCHOLAR award from the National Society of Black Engineers that same year, in 2021, she won the Apple HBCU Scholarship and went on to intern with Apple. She developed her expertise through self study and personal projects. She has done several certifications including the PMP to hone her skills. In her spare time, she enjoys playing chess, reading sci-fi novels and spending time with her two children
